Rumi Taraporevala

Rumi Taraporevala, was born in Bombay in 1930. After completing his education from St. Xavier’s High School, and College, he joined his father's  Forex Broking business: A. P. Taraporevala & Sons Pvt. Ltd. He retired as Senior Partner in 2003. His recreational  passions were going to the movies, ballroom dancing, long-distance running - long before Marathons became a fashion - trekking in the Himalayas, gymming, and touring in India and abroad with a large number of family and friends. Fond of music and singing; during his latter years he was part of the Mehli Mehta Adult  Recreation Choir.
